Dead Cells' latest update is all about the money
Dead Cells delivers an amazing experience full of action. Its roguelike mechanics and Metroidvania style have made it a favorite of the fans since it was released in 2018, but the game has changed quite a bit since then. Developer Motion Twin has expanded its content with several paid DLCs, but it has also added new features via free updates. The Bad Seed, for example, introduced several levels, a huge boss, plenty of new monsters, and a deadly scythe for you to obliterate them.
New free content
Dead Cells offers a completely different experience on each run, and this variety is getting even wider thanks to a new free update called Break the Bank, which adds plenty of novelties to the game. You can watch its trailer below.
The Break the Bank update adds a new biome that has a chance to appear on every run. You can access it via a flashing chest that can randomly appear in the transition area between biomes. It only appears one time per every run, and you need to reach the Hand of the King once to be able to open it. The chest teleports you to The Bank, a new money-themed area where you will face new types of enemies, like the Agitated Pickpocket, the Gold Gorger, and the Golden Kamikaze Bat. You also will have access to three new weapons and three new mutations that revolve around obtaining gold.
Break the Bank also comes with several balance changes and a few bug fixes that you can check out in the official patch notes. Developer Motion Twin has also confirmed its plans to add even more content to the game during the following year at least. Therefore, it's a great moment to give Dead Cells a try if you are not a fan already. Make sure to visit our comparator to find your Dead Cells PC key cheap.
