French studio Sandfall Interactive confirmed the achievement during a recent interview with French outlet Clips du lundi, where technical character artist Amandine Marest, producer Benjamin Dimanche, and senior gameplay programmer Florian Torres casually let the figure slip. While the “official” number remains at 3.3 million copies sold in 33 days, Marest bluntly added, “4.4 million,” before the team laughed and admitted the updated total.
