Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 introduces its new Brujah Clan

It's been a while since the Brujah Clan appeared for the first time in a Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 video. Quite a few months later, a new developer is in charge and it's taking a completely different approach to the game. Therefore, we are entitled to see many changes. We could already imagine that after watching the first video of the new Bloodlines 2 not too long ago. It was almost certain after the new protagonist of the game was revealed. But with the reveal of the first clan that will be present in the game, it's granted that the game that we will be playing in the future has almost nothing to do with the one that was originally announced.

Get up close and personal

The latest video published by The Chinese Room serves as an introduction to Clan Brujah. It shows the protagonist making use of the clan's disciplines to get rid of some opponents. Celerity allows you to move at blinding speed while dodging attacks. It's perfect to close the gap between you and an enemy to deliver a brutal attack empowered by a supernatural strength granted by the Potency discipline. While the video does not seem to show it in any way, Brujah vampires can also use their Presence discipline to fascinate, seduce, or intimidate those around them.

Although we are not quite sure of what type of game Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will be, the information we already have points to an exciting adventure with a deep narrative and lots of first-person action combat and exploration. In a certain way, the game is a big unknown after the change of developer and many fans don't really know what to expect from it. Things will get clearer when the developer studio decides to publish a gameplay trailer that hopefully will reveal more than 15 seconds of footage.

Despite all the problems with its development, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is still eagerly awaited by many players who would love to immerse into a rich story set in the World of Darkness.
