Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has been delayed again

After knowing that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 received an ESRB rating, developer studio The Chinese Room has announced a change in the official release window for the game. We expected that the game release would be close because the original target was the first half of 2025, however, it turns out that all the fans of Vampire: The Masquerade will have to wait a bit longer until they can enjoy this immersive adventure. According to the official statement, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is scheduled for release in October 2025.

Bloodlines 2 game update

"Bloodlines 2 will launch in October 2025 when the game meets the technical quality standards that you, our fans, rightfully expect and deserve. Please stay tuned for the game’s exact launch date. We want to ensure that the content we share with you is high-quality and showcases exciting game features. With this updated release timeline, we will pause our development diaries so that the team can concentrate on refining the game."

Although it's not good news for those dying to discover what this new adventure set in the World of Darkness has to offer, the developer studio has also confirmed what we anticipated yesterday. The game is finished now and it only needs some fine-tuning before the final version is available to be released. The studio will be focused on fixing bugs and improving stability and performance in the coming months to offer the best possible experience to the players at launch. Of course, we will know about a more accurate release date soon too.

After quite a few years in the making, if no more delays happen, we will finally be able to dive into this unique adventure later this year.
