NBA 2K26 is set to launch globally on September 5, 2025, with early access starting August 29, 2025, at 9 AM PT for pre-orders of the Superstar or Leave No Doubt Editions. Available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, the game ensures wide platform accessibility.

Building on the legacy of NBA 2K25, NBA 2K26 delivers an authentic basketball simulation, immersing players in modes like MyCAREER, MyTEAM, MyNBA, MyLEAGUE, The W, Play Now, and Blacktop. Fans can chase NBA stardom through MyCAREER's new ''Out of Bounds'' prelude, manage franchises in MyNBA, or compete online with crossplay support on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Cover athletes Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Angel Reese, and Carmelo Anthony highlight the game's celebration of NBA and WNBA talent, with MyTEAM Cross-Progression and a Shared VC Wallet enhancing cross-platform play.

NBA 2K26 introduces innovative features not seen in NBA 2K25. The enhanced ProPLAY™ technology refines gameplay with smoother movements, upgraded shooting mechanics, and dynamic layups derived from real NBA footage. A new Dynamic Motion Engine and Rhythm Shooting offer responsive, skill-based controls, while Shot and Dunk Meters now include green window indicators, and Layup Timing is always active for precise finishes. Competitive multiplayer modes on higher difficulties adopt Green or Miss Jump Shot Timing for a skill-driven experience. The MyPLAYER Builder revamps Cap Breakers and introduces a streamlined 5-level Takeover system, encouraging diverse builds across all player heights. MyCAREER's ''Out of Bounds'' story lets players shape their draft journey through performance and private workouts, adding narrative depth. MyNBA and MyGM feature Dynamic Banners to showcase championship wins, while The City sports a redesigned layout, enhanced lighting, and a leaderboard for The Theater and The REC. Advanced shading technology elevates player visuals, from detailed skin and muscles to realistic uniforms.

MyCareer y MyTeam y ambos son muy extraños en el sentido de que cada uno tiene como 8 modos de juego en línea diferentes, y simplemente no entiendo por qué. Hay como 6 formas diferentes de coincidencias en línea de MyCareer y no explican cuál es la diferencia entre ellas. En MyCareer, cada vez que fallas un tiro, bajan la calificación de tu compañero de equipo por "mala selección de tiro" Para ser sincero, ya me arrepiento y creo que será el último juego que compre. Lástima, soy un fanático del baloncesto y esta licencia se está alejando cada vez más y la diversión con amigos de años anteriores se está convirtiendo lentamente en frustración general.
MyCareer and MyTeam and they're both really weird in the sense that they each have like 8 different online match modes, and I just don't understand why. There are like 6 different forms of MyCareer online matches and they don't explain what the difference between them is. In MyCareer, every time you miss a shot, they lower your teammate's rating for "poor shot selection" To be honest, I already regret it and I think it will be the last game I buy. Too bad, I'm a basketball fan and this license is getting further and further away and the fun with friends of years past is slowly turning into general frustration.

Parece ser um dos NBA mais aprimorados de entre estes últimos lançamentos, apesar de não poder fugir muito do núcleo de jogo, as melhorias nos modos de jogo, maior inclusão de WNBA e as funcionalidades que transitam entre plataformas são vantagens para os jogadores. Não sou grande fã da 2K, especialmente com todas a microtransações que estes jogos oferecem para dar superioridade a quem esta disposto a abrir a carteira.
It seems to be one of the most improved NBA games of recent releases, although it can't stray too far from the core gameplay, the improvements in game modes, greater inclusion of the WNBA and the features that carry over between platforms are advantages for players. I'm not a big fan of 2K, especially with all the microtransactions these games offer to give superiority to those willing to open their wallets.

Sans aucun doute l'opus le plus aboutie graphiquement. Avec une meilleur fluidité sur les enchainements et une refonte du système de tir supprimant la RNG , les difficultés superstar et hall of fame devienne moins frustrante et plus agréable à jouer. Le mode "ma carrière" reste le plus gros point fort de la license avec une bonne campagne immersif et qui possède une bonne rejouabilité. À voir si les prochains patch rééquilibrerons la défense qui est pour l'instant assez difficile.
Without doubt the most graphically accomplished opus. With smoother sequences and an overhauled shooting system that does away with the RNG, the superstar and hall of fame difficulties become less frustrating and more enjoyable to play. The "my career" mode remains the license's strongest point, with an immersive campaign that offers good replayability. It remains to be seen whether future patches will rebalance the defense, which is currently rather difficult.

Es absurdo jugar a este juego con tantas microtransacciones. No me creo que no se puedan hacer algo para jugar con gente que no paga por tener jugadores de más de 90. Deberían buscar una fórmula para poner a jugadores que pagan estás microtransacciones entre ellos y los que no pagan jueguen entre sí. Quizás, si hicieran algo de este estilo, podríamos estar hablando de un juego disfrutable pero, siendo así, no es el caso. Es bastante frustrante y aburrido tener que jugar de esta manera. Sobre todo después de haberte gastado tanto dinero en juegos así.
It is absurd to play this game with so many microtransactions. I don't believe that they can't do something to play with people who don't pay for having players over 90. They should look for a formula to put players who pay these microtransactions between them and those who don't pay to play with each other. Maybe, if they did something like this, we could be talking about an enjoyable game but, being like this, it is not the case. It is quite frustrating and boring to have to play this way. Especially after spending so much money on games like this.

NBA 2K26 à un gameplay affiné, une meilleure réalisation visuelle. Néanmoins, le pay to win est toujours présent ce qui déséquilibre le gameplay et des bugs qui gâchent parfois l’expérience. Une excellente version, mais loin d’être parfaite.

NBA 2K26 pinta bastante prometedor. Las animaciones ahora se sienten más naturales gracias a ProPLAY y al nuevo motor, lo que hace que cada movimiento sea más realista. Los modos clásicos como MyCAREER y MyTEAM llegan con novedades que refrescan la experiencia y dan más ganas de probarlos. Además, el cross-play es un gran acierto, porque por fin podremos jugar con amigos sin importar la consola. Da la sensación de que esta entrega trae cambios de verdad y motivos para emocionarse.

Classic modes like MyCAREER and MyTEAM come with new features that refresh the experience and make you want to try them even more. Une suite à une licence qui a fait du chemin, pas tellement de grosses nouveautés mais une continuité au réalisme du sport qu'est le Basketball (mouvements, arbitrage, dynamisme des matchs, graphisme, etc). Plus qu'à voir ce qu'EA va proposer avant son prochain !
