MyCareer and MyTeam and they're both really weird in the sense that they each have like 8 different online match modes, and I just don't understand why. There are like 6 different forms of MyCareer online matches and they don't explain what the difference between them is. In MyCareer, every time you miss a shot, they lower your teammate's rating for "poor shot selection" To be honest, I already regret it and I think it will be the last game I buy. Too bad, I'm a basketball fan and this license is getting further and further away and the fun with friends of years past is slowly turning into general frustration.

It seems to be one of the most improved NBA games of recent releases, although it can't stray too far from the core gameplay, the improvements in game modes, greater inclusion of the WNBA and the features that carry over between platforms are advantages for players. I'm not a big fan of 2K, especially with all the microtransactions these games offer to give superiority to those willing to open their wallets.

Without doubt the most graphically accomplished opus. With smoother sequences and an overhauled shooting system that does away with the RNG, the superstar and hall of fame difficulties become less frustrating and more enjoyable to play. The "my career" mode remains the license's strongest point, with an immersive campaign that offers good replayability. It remains to be seen whether future patches will rebalance the defense, which is currently rather difficult.

It is absurd to play this game with so many microtransactions. I don't believe that they can't do something to play with people who don't pay for having players over 90. They should look for a formula to put players who pay these microtransactions between them and those who don't pay to play with each other. Maybe, if they did something like this, we could be talking about an enjoyable game but, being like this, it is not the case. It is quite frustrating and boring to have to play this way. Especially after spending so much money on games like this.

NBA 2K26 has refined gameplay and improved visual realization. Nevertheless, pay-to-win is still present, which makes for unbalanced gameplay and bugs that sometimes spoil the experience. An excellent version, but far from perfect.

NBA 2K26 looks quite promising. Animations now feel more natural thanks to ProPLAY and the new engine, making every movement more realistic. Classic modes like MyCAREER and MyTEAM come with new features that refresh the experience and make you want to try them even more. In addition, cross-play is a great success, because we can finally play with friends regardless of the console. It gives the feeling that this release brings real changes and reasons to get excited.

A sequel to a license that's come a long way, with not so much new features as a continuation of the realism of the sport of basketball (movements, refereeing, match dynamics, graphics, etc.). Let's see what EA comes up with next!

What a terrible experience in MyCareer, it's impossible, you can't compete against teams that average more than 70% shooting from the field, your team looks like a Paralympics team. If innovation is going backwards instead of improving, congratulations to 2K.
