Resident Evil Resistance which is the multiplayer mode of Resident Evil 3, was released at the same time as the base game, and now it's receiving new content. Capcom promised it a while ago and it also unveiled a roadmap for the months following the release. We have already experienced the content added in the first part of this roadmap, namely Jill Valentine, the heroine of the solo campaign of Resident Evil 3 who joined the survivors' camp on April 17. A few days later, an update was rolled out and it brought adjustments to matchmaking and daily missions, and also offered players 10 RP boosters to earn more in-game currency.
But as you know, Resident Evil Resistance is an asymmetrical multiplayer game, in which you can play as a survivor or the Machiavellian Mastermind. One of those is being added to the game. We were told of his identity when Jill Valentine joined the ranks of the survivors, and it is no other than Nicholai Ginovaef, another character from the solo campaign. Very little is known about him other than he can control a biological weapon, possibly Nemesis, but nothing has been confirmed on this subject. What just happened, however, is that the date when this new Mastermind will be available in-game has been confirmed, and it will be tomorrow. The news was announced via the game's twitter account, without giving more information about its famous special ability. In any case, it won't take too long to find out about it.
