Players race as one of over 50 characters from the Mario universe, including classics like Mario, Luigi, and Peach, alongside quirky newcomers like Goomba, Spike, and even a cow from Moo Moo Meadows. With 40 playable vehicles—karts, bikes, and ATVs—players speed through 30 dynamic courses, blending 16 new tracks like Mario Bros. Circuit and Crown City with 14 reimagined classics like N64’s Choco Mountain and Wii’s Toad’s Factory. Each course features weather changes, day-night cycles, and new maneuvers like rail grinding, wall jumping, and water-skimming via jet skis.
