In the original OXENFREE, five teens from the town of Camena have an overnight bonfire party on the nearby Edwards island, only to get caught up with supernatural events involving strange radio signals, extradimensional beings, and secrets from the past. Set five years after the events of OXENFREE, The Lost Signals focuses on a new character, a 30-something named Riley, who is currently facing issues about choices she made long ago and the person she wants to be. She has taken on a new occupation as an environmental researcher and returned to her hometown of Camena as part of her job. As it turns out, something odd is still going on in Camena. Strange electromagnetic waves are interfering with TV sets, lights, radar, and radio. Riley just needs to gather data, but as things get really weird very fast, it’s up to her and her companion Jacob to solve the mysterious events in her hometown.
