    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I combine multiple 'Disjunction' events, and if so, what determines the final outcome?
Yes, chaining Disjunction events is possible. The final outcome is determined by the logical 'OR' of all individual event resolutions. If any event resolves positively, the overall outcome is positive.
If a card's ability triggers a Disjunction, does the original card's effect still resolve, regardless of the Disjunction's outcome?
No. The original card's effect is conditionally dependent on the Disjunction. If the Disjunction fails to meet its condition, the original card's effect is negated.
How do cards with 'Paradox' abilities interact with Disjunctions? Does the Paradox ability's condition have to be met before the Disjunction can be resolved?
Paradox abilities activate simultaneously with the Disjunction, assuming their conditions are met. They introduce additional variables, effectively modifying the Disjunction's original conditions. The Disjunction will resolve with all conditions factored in.
Is there a limit to the number of Disjunctions that can be active simultaneously?
No, there is no inherent limit to the number of active Disjunctions. The game engine is designed to handle multiple simultaneous events.
Can I 'block' or 'counter' a Disjunction, preventing its resolution or changing its terms?
While direct 'blocking' of a Disjunction is not possible, certain cards and abilities can be used to alter the conditions or the variables involved in the Disjunction, effectively influencing the outcome.
If a Disjunction requires a specific card in my hand and I don't have it, what happens?
If a Disjunction's condition cannot be met, the Disjunction fails and its associated effects are not triggered. The card with the Disjunction effect will resolve in a way that is determined by its properties.
Do Disjunctions resolve in a specific order if multiple are triggered simultaneously?
Disjunctions triggered simultaneously are resolved in a deterministic order based on their initial trigger sequence and then their game state priority within that sequence. The specific order is designed for transparency.
Are Disjunctions affected by effects that manipulate the game's 'timeline' or 'history'?
Yes, some abilities can indirectly manipulate the conditions of a Disjunction by altering the state of cards or variables involved in its resolution, but not in a way that allows changing a past event. The timeline manipulation directly affects the present and future.
Can I predict the outcome of a Disjunction before it resolves?
Yes, the game provides sufficient information for you to determine the outcome. However, the complexity of card interactions and chained effects could increase the difficulty of doing so.
How does 'Disjunction Immunity' work? Does it prevent the Disjunction from occurring, or simply negate its effects?
Disjunction Immunity prevents the Disjunction from affecting the card with immunity. The card ignores all the conditions established by the Disjunction event.
