Total War: WARHAMMER II - The Warden & The Paunch is a DLC that introduces two new lords in Total War: Warhammer II. Each of them comes with new effects and favors a certain style of strategic play.

Eltharion The Warden is an experienced High Elf general that counts among his deeds countless victories against Orcs, Dwarves, and Humans. He is the defender of Tor Yvresse and he is well known for being one of the greatest of all Ulthuan’s generals. He favors Spear Infantry and Ranger units and confers a variety of bonuses to these troops in combat. He is also able to call for the Mists of Yvresse to cloak his lands in a defensive shroud. He hates the greenskins and gets offensive bonuses against them in battle.

Grom The Paunch is an unusual Goblin Lord that has grown to a very big size. The legend says that he ate a portion of uncooked troll meat and that he has to keep eating in order to digest the regenerating flesh and prevent his belly from bursting. He is as cunning and ruthless as big, and he is the leader of a Waaagh! that includes hundreds of greenskin tribes. In combat, he is forced to ride a chariot due to his massive size and he gives bonuses to Chariot and Pump Wagon units in battle. He is determined to conquest Tor Yvresse and will do anything to satisfy his unending hunger for meat and power.

Grom's Waaagh! already tried to attack Tor Yvressse in the past but the elves managed to defeat the greenskin and scatter their forces. The evil goblin leader has managed to rally his troops and he is ready for a rematch and thirsty for vengeance. Both armies are more interested in their blood feud than in the race for the Vortex.
