The collaboration between Arc System and TOYBOX has given birth to World End Syndrome. This game is a romantic visual novel adventure that follows the story of a 17- year-old high school youngster that's trying to leave behind his past. He caused the death of his sister in a car accident, and when the opportunity of a transfer to a different school appears in his life, he promptly grabs it in an attempt to move on and continue with his life. Unfortunately, as soon as he arrives at Mihate High School he will get involved in a strange story.

The school also has a troublesome past marked by the legend of the Yomibito. It´s a recurring nightmare that happens every 100 years where the dead come back to life and attack the living. It´s been a hundred years since the last incident happened, so strange things are bound to happen at the school. Everything was going fine in the school and our protagonist was forgetting about his past troubles, but when one of the students at the school appears murdered a series of events will be set in motion dragging him into a nightmare.

World End Syndrome has multiple endings, and the one you will come to depends on the choices you make in the game. You can explore the town and your new school, solving puzzles and unraveling mysteries surrounding the living dead.
