    In RimWorld you are in charge of a group of survivors from a spaceship crash grounded in a frontier world at the rim of known space. Your main objective is expanding the colony and gather enough resources to be able to escape from the planet. The game is a construction and management simulation 2D video game inspired by the space western vibe of Firefly, the deep simulation of Dwarf Fortress, and the epic scale of Dune and Warhammer 40,000. Your crew is not formed by professional settlers, so you will find a bit of everything in the mix, and everyone has their own personality traits and changing relationships between them will be established. The game is not only about resource gathering and the survivance in a foreign planet but also about the drama, tragedy, and comedy that goes on in your colony. Dealing with your crew, the unexpected problems of all kind that will threaten your colony and making it through a story generated randomly by an AI storyteller until you can escape the planet safely will prove a demanding task that will keep you quite entertained.
