Coiled Captors is Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands first dlc

Gearbox’s insane RPG Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands had previously announced DLCs when they introduced the Season Pass, and now we know that the first one is called Coiled Captors, out this Thursday for all platforms. It even has a trailer, which you can check out right now:

Shark Gods and Snake Women

Coiled Captors is designed to be a gauntlet that you can replay, much like the Chaos Chambers that punctuate the end of the main game. The point is to gun your way through the dungeons, kill monsters, and grab great loot. Once you complete Coiled Captors, its enemies and rooms get added to the Chaos Chambers as well. Players can also get items and cosmetics from the DLC by gathering lost souls from fallen enemies and spending them on the Wheel of Fate.

There’s a story featuring a shark god called Chums, who was trapped in the body of a landshark by snake women known as the Coiled. As a player, you must fight your way through the Coiled and their minions to reach Chums and free him—only to defeat him after. Because reasons.

What’s more, Chums gets a stronger form each time he is defeated, with each form being unlocked weekly for the next four weeks. Note that even after the week has passed, you still have to defeat each of Chum’s forms before you can access the next one. If you are defeated, you have to start the run over again.

More to come

To access the DLC, head to the Mirrors of Mystery in Dreamveil Outlook, itself located in the city of Brighthoof. The next three DLCs are called Glutton’s Castle, Molten Mirrors, and Shattering Spectreglass, but we don’t have release dates for them yet.

Still, Coiled Captors and the Chaos Chamber should occupy your time before the rest of the DLCs. Coiled Captors will launch on April 21. If you don’t have the base game yet, get a good price for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands PC code today.
