ENTITY: The Black Day - Surviving the Abyss

On the 8th of January, 2026, ASD Games Studio just surprised the gaming community with the drop of a third-person survival horror action game named: Entity: The Black Day, with loads of interesting features.

The game's main storyline follows Adam, a former special forces operative who is tasked with a high-stakes mission: To investigate an abandoned underground bio-research facility. Adam's main goal is to extract evidence from a secret government-funded program that spiraled out of control, resulting in thousands of deaths. As Adam tracks the last two survivors and navigates the facility, he discovers that the "program" hides far darker elements, potentially supernatural or psychological secrets. The narrative often blurs the lines between the reality and a "world of dreams."

Entity: The Black Day gameplay is being described as a blend of Resident Evil-style and Souls-like elements, which features intense third-person shooting, melee strikes, and evasive maneuvers. Players can also perform "finishing moves" to crush or smash weakened enemies, which is really Resident Evil-like. The players also have to master the skills and manage resources, because during the game, players will lose health, which will be restored via medical injections found throughout the levels. However, those medical injections are limited; therefore, the game forces players to manage supplies carefully. 

Lastly, the developers highlight an "AI-driven protagonist" and a "true companion" system, designed to make the protagonist, Adam, feel like a "true companion" rather than just a puppet controlled by the player. This AI system is what separates the game from the Resident Evil franchise by giving the protagonist a soul and a sense of agency.

After the release, the game received a "Very Positive" rating on Steam (approximately 87-90% positive ratings).
