Street Fighter V is free to play right now

Capcom does it again! With the holiday season approaching it offers a free trial weekend for Street Fighter V. If you missed the one in September, this is your chance to catch up.

This free trial is already available on PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam, and you can enjoy it until December 23. During this long weekend, you will have access to all the characters of the basic game, 16 in total, as well as to all of those included in the Season 1 of Street Fighter V, namely, Alex, Guile, Ibuki, Balrog, Juri, and Urien. Taking advantage of this offer is very easy. You just have to go to the game page on Steam or the PS Store and download the game.

This free trial is also an opportunity to test the new features included in the December update. In terms of gameplay, it added balance changes and new V-Skills for all the characters, those already available but also those that are coming, paving the way for more combinations and strategies for players. The December update also introduced a new character, who is none other than Gill, as well as a new arena, which players can unlock by purchasing them or by using the in-game currency.

In addition to this, it's been announced that Street Fighter V - Champion Edition will be released on February 14. It will include a total of 40 characters, 34 arenas, and more than 200 costumes. But that's not all, because Seth, a new character, will also arrive on the day of the release of Street Fighter V - Champion Edition. The boss of Street Fighter IV will be a formidable opponent because his main ability is to copy the attacks and techniques of his opponents. If you already have Street Fighter V, note that a Champion Edition upgrade will also be available.
