Star Wars: The Old Republic expansion Legacy of the Sith launches in December

The popularity of Star Wars knows no limits, and it reaches all video game genres. Star Wars: The Old Republic is an MMORPG that allows you to immerse in the sci-fi universe of the franchise and take the role of a hero, adventuring through the galaxy while taking on missions and fighting against powerful enemies of all kinds. The game was released in 2011, and countless players have fought for the Light Side and the Dark Side since then. The upcoming release of a new expansion has drawn the attention of the fans of the franchise once again. 

Legacy of the Sith is a new expansion for SWTOR, and it will be the more impactful to date due to the gameplay changes that it brings. The new combat style system will allow players to combine abilities and weapons from different archetypes instead of being restricted to one class that splits into two different specialized classes at level 10. The level of class customization and freedom of choice that this brings to the table is just insane in a game that had very defined archetypes and class meta for each possible role. 

Other than that, Legacy of the Sith will also feature a new storyline that will take players to Manaan on the trail of Darth Malgus, a renegade Sith. The expansion also includes a new flashpoint on a frozen planet and an operation that will pit players against a mysterious Sith cult.

Legacy of the Sith expansion for Star Wars: The Old Republic will launch on December 14, 2021. You have more than enough time to prepare for it whether you are playing the game already or not. SWTOR follows a free-to-play model that gives you access to the whole game but with restrictions that you can remove by subscribing to the game.
