Sony unveils Gran Turismo 7 special editions

The Gran Turismo series is all about driving in style. There are plenty of racing and driving games out there, but Gran Turismo did set the genre's standards when it was released in 1997 for PlayStation consoles. Since then, more than 80 million units sold across several installments have made the franchise one of the most popular among the fans, who are eagerly waiting for the release of Gran Turismo 7. The new game from Polyphony Digital will inherit the spirit of the series and offer a unique driving experience. It will bring back the GT Simulation Mode and plenty of previous features, and players will be able to experience dynamic weather and time cycles again. Of course, Gran Turismo 7 will take advantage of Sony's next-gen console technology to offer better graphics than ever with 4K resolution and 60 frames per second on PS5. 

The huge fan base of the series makes the launch of Gran Turismo 7 a guaranteed success. Still, those that really love Gran Turismo games will be looking for a little extra, and sony has revealed the contents of the different Gran Turismo editions that will be available at launch.

Gran Turismo 7 Launch Edition

This is the most basic special edition of the game. It comes with Gran Turismo 7 base game, some additional cars, and a bit of extra in-game cash:

Gran Turismo Digital Deluxe Edition

This edition offers you plenty of digital extras for Gran Turismo 7 and it comes with both the PS4 and PS5 versions of the base game, as well as the following items:

• 30 Manufacturer / Partner Avatars
• The Music of Gran Turismo Official Soundtrack

Gran Turismo 7 25th Anniversary Edition

You can celebrate the 25th anniversary of the racing series with this physical edition. It's only available in limited quantities, so you better pre-order it as soon as possible. It comes with a Steelbook and the same items included in Gran Turismo 7 Digital Deluxe Edition and a bit less in-game cash, 1,100,000 CR.
