Skyrim remastered gets a launch date

Think twice if you are one of those that thinks that Skyrim couldn't get any better. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was undoubtedly a state-of-the-art title when it was released in 2011. A few years have passed now, and the game is still one of the best open-world roleplaying games of all time, but Bethesda Softworks has decided to publish a new version with improved graphics. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition will feature all the content from the original game and all of the DLCs released afterwards, including Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn. According to the publisher, “if you own the PC version of Skyrim and all its add-ons – Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn – on Steam, you’ll get a free upgrade to Skyrim Special Edition” when it releases. Also if you have Skyrim Legendary Edition on Steam. They have also confirmed that your saves on Pc will transfer to the new version of the game, but the same thing won't happen from Xbox 360 to Xbox One or PS3 to PS4. This new version is set for release on October 28 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, and to celebrate the launch Bethesda and Senbla have organized a special concert at the London Palladium, where the Winterhold Philharmonic Orchestra and chorus will play the award-winning original sound-track of the title. You can get your tickets at Ticketmaster UK from October 4.
