Resident Evil 4 Remake will launch next year

The State of Play that took place a few days ago still lingers in the minds of many viewers due to the large number of important games that were showcased at the event. Among the announcements, Capcom's reveal of the Resident Evil 4 remake has been received with joy by the fans of the series. The main reason for that comes from the spectacular video that announces the game, but there is more.

Resident Evil 4 remake announcement

The original Resident Evil 4 (2014) is considered the worst game in the whole series. It's not a bad game by itself, but a significant change of scenario along with a gameplay that is far more focused on shooting down enemies than other games in the series has made it the least favorite of the fans for a long time. The new Resident Evil 4 remake will come as a great opportunity for Capcom to fix all that. The developer promises to reimagine the storyline for this new installment, and as you can see in the video, the new graphic style will bring a modern look according to the current state of the franchise.

Previous remakes in the series have been an enormous success so far. Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 boast a high level of quality, a good design, and several novelties that make them quite interesting versions of the classics. Although Capcom is yet to reveal more details about Resident Evil 4, a different approach to the story with deeper roots in horror would probably appeal to the fans. In any case, we will have to wait a bit longer to know more.

The remake of Resident Evil 4 is scheduled to release on March 24 next year. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. As usual, you will find your Resident Evil 4 key cheap ahead of the release on our website, along with all the other Resident Evil games.
