Remnant 2 launches its first DLC

As we told you last week, Gunfire Games is finally expanding the universe of Remnant 2 with new content. The Awakened King is an expansion that introduces a brand new world for players to explore as well as a thrilling storyline. When you set your feet on Losomn, you will travel beyond the Forlon Coast area to discover a flooded city under the effects of terrible weather, there you will face a mad king that has awakened from eternal slumber after being corrupted by the Root.

A new adventure

Gunfire Games has released the Remnant 2: The Awakened King launch trailer. It showcases some of the new enemies that you will fight in Losomn, and the powers of the Ritualist, a brand new archetype added to the game with the DLC. Of course, the expansion also adds new weapons and equipment that will come in very handy when facing the threats that The Awakened King will throw at you.

As it happened with other archetypes in Remnant 2, you will need to complete a certain task to unlock the Ritualist. In this case, you will need to find a specific item that is hidden somewhere in the expansion. The new archetype boasts arcane powers and unique abilities that will change your way of playing the game.

Remnant 2 offers you a unique adventure set in a post-apocalyptic universe that will take you through multiple worlds. The sequel to Remnant: From the Ashes is among the best of 2023. With its frenetic combat it has been nominated for Best Action Game at this year's The Game Awards.
