The Nintendo Switch 2 has received a new system update, bringing it to version 22.0.0. While not a major overhaul, it introduces a helpful new feature called Handheld Mode Boost, which will appeal especially to players revisiting older titles.

This feature improves how backward-compatible Switch 1 games perform on the newer hardware.
