Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord announces a new expansion

After quite a successful journey through Early Access the final version of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord caught the eye of many players with its medieval battles. The game combines strategy and RPG elements to deliver an exciting experience that puts you in the shoes of a lord immersed in a brutal conflict for the dominion of Calradia. Developer TaleWorlds Entertainment has announced the upcoming release of a new expansion, Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord - War Sails. The expansion will add new content to explore, taking players to the far reaches of the cold Northern Kingdom, the homeland of the Nords. The addition of a new faction will offer new opportunities to those willing to brave the brave waters of the northern seas. One of the core additions of the expansion is naval warfare and it features a whole new system to allow players to battle at the sea that includes new water physics. You can expect to enjoy all the realism of the original game expanded to ship-themed activities and warfare. Also, the expansion introduces new ways for players to trade and explore diplomacy, as well as plenty of new customization options, skills, and companions.

The release of Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord - War Sails is scheduled for June 17 and it will arrive alongside a new free update for the base game that will include quite a few novelties. TaleWorlds Entertainment plans to revolutionize gameplay with the addition of a stealth system, random events, a parley system, and new weapons.
