A new football season is here, and EA Sports has confirmed many things about it.
Madden NFL 20 is finally seeing the light of day this August 2nd, 2019 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. This year’s game cover is Kansas City’s famous quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
The superstar athlete shared that he is also a lifelong fan of Madden; in fact, he played it with his father when he was still a kid. Landing as Madden NFL 20 cover is both an honor and a dream come true for him. He also had a first-hand experience on the new mode called Face of the Franchise; it’s a new campaign where you can create a quarterback who must go through all the process from college playoffs to the NFL combine, NFL draft, and finally making it to NFL. In this mode, every decision you make affects how the game ends. Another new feature is the Superstar X-Factor, a new game mode where you play differently depending on the set of skills that you have. For example, players can perform tricks and jaw-dropping movements with skilled players. Madden NFL 20 drops Long Shot Mode Previously in Madden NFL 18, the game was more into the story-focused single-player mode Longshot, that revolved around the lives of Devin Wade and Colt Cruise. This story continued in Madden NFL 19but with Rob Schneider and Joey King as additional characters. Just last week, a new update for Madden NFL 20 was announced. It was a new career mode as mentioned by Mahomes in an interview, the Face of the Franchise: QB1. It is likely that Long Shot will be replaced by this new mode.
