Forza Horizon 6 turns Japan into a car collector’s dream
Forza Horizon 6 does something really cool with car collecting this time, and honestly, it fits Japan perfectly. Instead of making every car feel like it only exists inside a menu, the game now lets players find cars out in the world through the new Aftermarket Cars system. These are secondhand cars parked around the map, and when you spot one, you can check it out, test drive it, and even buy it for your own garage.
That sounds simple, but it changes the vibe a lot. Finding a modified Honda S2000, an Autozam AZ-1, or a tuned McLaren sitting somewhere near a race spot feels way more alive than just scrolling through the Autoshow. Some of these cars come with custom parts, body kits, or upgrades already installed, so they feel like something another driver actually used before you found it. It gives the game that proper street-car feeling, like Japan is full of little automotive discoveries waiting around the next corner.
Car Meets make the world feel alive
The same idea carries into Car Meets, which might become one of the most loved social features in Forza Horizon 6. These meetups let players show off their builds, look at other cars, grab liveries, download tunes, and even buy the stock Autoshow version of cars they like. It is not just about racing anymore. Sometimes you just want to pull up, look at what everyone brought, get inspired by a build, and then go make your own version back in the garage.
This is exactly why the Japan setting works so well. Japanese car culture has always been about more than speed. It is about style, taste, tiny details, weird choices, iconic tuners, night drives, parking lot meets, and cars that feel personal. Forza Horizon 6 seems to understand that. The game is not only handing you cars as rewards, it is making you feel like you are part of a living car scene.
For players who love collecting, tuning, and just cruising around, this might be one of the most immersive Horizon setups yet.
