Halo Infinite microtransactions will be cheaper
The recent arrival of Halo Infinite multiplayer has added a new contender in the competition to become the most popular free-to-play shooter. Until now, battle royale games like Warzone or Fortnite were the kings, but Halo Infinite multiplayer has become a hit quite fast due to the Halo series's huge popularity on Xbox consoles and, more recently, PC with Halo The Master Chief Collection. The new game offers exciting multiplayer battles and a type of gameplay that can be expanded with additional features and content via the Halo Infinite (Campaign), which you can find at the best price on our comparator.
Halo Infinite monetization
Halo Infinite multiplayer is quite profitable as it usually happens with free-to-play games. Players like to buy cosmetic items to customize their characters' look in the game, which is the main revenue source for developers in games like this one. It seems that Halo Infinite players are finding those cosmetics to be a bit too expensive, and the most common complaint about the game is exactly that. 343 Industries has decided to address this issue, and the studio has announced several changes that aim to reduce the prices. Jerry Hook, head of design at 343, has talked about the changes on Twitter.
"We've been monitoring the discussions on the Shop, bundles, and pricing closely since launch. Using data and community feedback, we're going to begin rolling out changes to how we package and price items in Infinite--and it all starts next week."
"Starting Tuesday, the Shop experience will vary week-to-week. We are focused on reducing pricing across the board, providing stronger values in our bundles, starting to put individual items outside of bundles, and more."
Halo Infinite players will start noticing these changes tomorrow with the launch of the new Cyber Showdown event, which will bring additional cosmetic items to the in-game shop. It's good that 343 Industries is open to making changes in order to maintain Halo Infinite as an interesting option for the players.
