GeForce NOW adds NBA 2K27 with DLSS 5 and 27 more games this month

NVIDIA is following up a busy August for GeForce NOW with another substantial batch of games arriving on its cloud gaming service this month. After recently expanding the platform with a native Linux app, Firefox support, GOG library syncing and additional Valve hardware plans, NVIDIA has announced 26 games coming to GeForce NOW throughout September 2026.

The biggest addition is arguably NBA 2K27, which is also the first game to officially support NVIDIA's new DLSS 5 3D-Guided Neural Rendering technology. GeForce NOW Ultimate subscribers using RTX 5080-powered servers will be able to experience the feature through cloud streaming.

DLSS 5 uses generative AI to enhance the appearance of characters and environments, with NVIDIA highlighting improvements to lighting, materials, hair, skin and facial geometry. The company says the technology is designed to make real-world athletes look more lifelike during gameplay. NBA 2K27 won't be the only major release joining the service. The Blood of Dawnwalker, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, WARDOGS, CONTROL Resonant and several other upcoming games are also on the September schedule.

The dates above correspond to each game's store release and don't necessarily mean the title will become playable on GeForce NOW immediately. NVIDIA typically adds new releases after launch as they are onboarded, so availability can vary throughout the month.

It's also worth remembering that GeForce NOW isn't a game subscription service in the same way as Game Pass. In most cases, you'll need to own the game on a supported storefront before you can stream it through NVIDIA's servers, although PC Game Pass licenses can also provide access for supported titles. And also, GeForce NOW subscribers are subject to monthly usage limits, so even Ultimate members can't necessarily stream their entire library indefinitely.
