Master the Battlefield with Deck of Destiny: Battleforge
Deck of Destiny: Battleforge is an upcoming roguelike deck-building action game that blends strategy, progression, and fast-paced encounters into one compelling experience. Developed and published by Furkan Selcuk, the title is set to enter Early Access on August 19, 2025, giving players the first opportunity to step into its ever-changing realms. At its core, the game challenges players to craft powerful decks, survive waves of enemies, and uncover treasures in a cursed world once rich with magic.
Players can choose from four distinct hero classes—Archer, Mage, Warrior, and Tank—each offering a unique playstyle. Whether raining arrows from a distance, unleashing devastating spells, or charging headfirst into battle, every class provides different ways to approach the game’s strategic deck mechanics. Cards come in five categories—Attack, Defense, Health, Buff, and Speed—allowing players to experiment with builds that complement their hero’s strengths. As each run is procedurally generated, no two journeys feel the same, encouraging adaptability and replayability.
Progression goes beyond deck construction. Gold, upgrade books, and various equipment such as helmets, armor, and gloves can be collected to enhance both character stats and card power. Cards can be upgraded up to level five, offering long-term progression even as players face the roguelike challenge of permadeath. Exploration also plays a vital role, with players gathering Map Keys to unlock new realms filled with fresh challenges and rewards.
The Early Access launch will provide the core experience, with four heroes, diverse maps, and a growing pool of equipment and cards. The developer plans to expand the game over the next 6–12 months, adding new characters, modes, and content shaped by community feedback. With its blend of deck-building depth and action-driven progression, Deck of Destiny: Battleforge is poised to carve out a spot among the most engaging roguelike experiences on Steam.
