FBC: Firebreak has an official release date

Fans of Remedy Entertainment’s acclaimed game Control are in for a treat, as the studio has officially announced the release date for FBC: Firebreak, the highly anticipated first-person cooperative shooter set in the same universe. The game will launch on June 17, 2025, across all major platforms.

Set within the enigmatic Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) universe, FBC: Firebreak promises to expand the lore of Control while introducing thrilling new gameplay mechanics and cooperative play elements. Players will step into the shoes of agents of a special unit in charge of reclaiming the agency’s headquarters which has been under siege by supernatural entities for a whole year.

FBC: Firebreak offers a blend of intense firefights and strategic teamwork, allowing up to three players to navigate through various mind-bending locations while facing bizarre anomalies that fans have come to know and love. The cooperative aspect is designed to encourage coordination and teamwork, pushing players to combine their skills to tackle increasingly difficult challenges.

Special Edition

FBC: Firebreak will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series and Remedy Entertainment has prepared a special edition full of exclusive cosmetics. However, this edition won't be available on stores until launch day.Also, Remedy has plans to release two additional missions in 2025 alongside other free content that will be available through 2026.
