Escape room adventure Escape Academy is available for free on the Epic Games Store

The Epic Games Store is once again offering a free game as part of its ongoing weekly giveaway. This week's promotion is replacing last week’s offering of Turmoil with Escape Academy, an interactive escape room game featuring both solo and multiplayer options. If you've been keeping track of the store's giveaways, you may already have this title in your library from a prior promotion.

Created by Coin Crew Games, Escape Academy invites you to attend a distinctive school focused on training escapists. To complete your education, the institution and its instructors challenge you with expertly crafted escape rooms filled with a variety of puzzles, designed by real-life specialists in the area.

Additionally, the game includes a cooperative mode for two players, allowing friends to work together to navigate the numerous rooms. Following its launch, the game introduced a competitive arena mode for puzzle solving that pits players against each other. Both online play and local split-screen are available options.

This game also takes significant inspiration from Studio Ghibli, with vivid visuals and an engaging storytelling atmosphere. The narrative does not follow a linear progression but instead places considerable emphasis on emotional depth.
