Epic Games Store's latest giveaway offers two free games, featuring a brand-new release

The Epic Games Store is a digital distribution platform for video games developed and maintained by Epic Games. It offers a curated selection of games for PC and Mac, frequently providing exclusive titles and generous discounts.

For those who don’t already know, every Thursday, Epic Games makes a new game, or sometimes, two games are available for gamers to download and add to their libraries for free. Whatever you’ve redeemed is then yours to keep, to play or to add to an ever-growing list of games you mean to play but probably never will. This week, CYGNI: All Guns Blazing and DNF Duel have arrived for PC gamers to claim for free, replacing last week's LumbearJack giveaway. You have seven days from August 8, to add a copy of each game permanently to your Epic Games Store library.

CYGNI: All Guns Blazing is a brand-new release, which landed on PC earlier this week from Konami. This Shoot-em Up genre title set in space, letting players take on hordes of enemies that fill up the screen at all times with bullets. During combat, you’ll need to expertly manage your ship’s power supply by shifting it between your shields and various weapons. As you zip around and dodge attacks, keep an eye out for energy pickups that can boost your power.

Next up is DNF Duel, the 2022-released fighting game set in NEXON's Dungeon and Fighter franchise. This 2.5D brawler may not be as popular as Street Fighter or Tekken, but with a roster of 16 unique characters, stunning backdrops, and a mix of competitive online modes and story content, there’s plenty for fighting game fans to enjoy here.
