Dying Light 2 will get content for the next 5 years

Techland wasn’t kidding when they announced that Dying Light 2: Stay Human was going to take about 500 hours to complete. Continuing its media blitz, the developers stated that Dying Light 2 was going to have support for the next five years at least. The announcement was made by Sheri Kryeziu, lead social media influencer, who went on to say that Dying Light 2 will have “more story DLCs”, “more events,” “more locations,” and “more in-game items” in its ever-expanding zombie apocalypse world.

Their announcement is just the latest in its parade of updates, ranging from a look at Dying Light 2’s parkour and combat skill trees, its incredible variety of gear, its unique UI and HUD, and its detailed co-op gameplay. Techland’s media blitz has effectively put Dying Light 2 as one of the most anticipated games of the year, way up there with Elden Ring, God of War, and Horizon Forbidden West

One Techland announcement that captured much attention was that Dying Light 2: Stay Human would take more than 500 hours to complete—a daunting task that didn’t sit too well with many players. Since then, Techland has clarified that the 500 hours would only apply to completionists seeking every item, location, and sub-quest; the main story itself would only take about 20 hours of game time.

Of course, with the promise of five years’ worth of content, who knows how many game hours it would all take?

Looking forward to Dying Light 2: Stay Human. It’s coming to the PS4, PS5, XBox One, XBox Series X|S, and PC this February 4, 2022. Pre-order your Dying Light 2: Stay Human PC key or a key from any platform you want, all at the cheapest prices with our comparator.
