Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred reveals its new class
Despite the great anticipation for Diablo IV and the sizeable player base that supports the game many players are not happy with its current state. This is why the announcement of its first expansion was received with joy and expectation. Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred will introduce a plethora of new content to the game, including a new explorable region, multiple quests, a new story, and more. However, one of the most interesting additions coming in this future expansion is no other than a new character class. The Spiritborn was first announced alongside the expansion but yesterday's reveal offered us an in-depth view of its abilities.
Wield the power of the spirits to fight evil
The Spiritborn is the first class to be added to Diablo IV post-launch and it's quite unique. These warriors are capable of reaching into the spirit realm to call for the power of powerful animal guardians that represent specific virtues. By calling forth the powers of the Jaguar, Gorilla, Centipede, and Eagle, Spiritborn can unleash powerful abilities and decimate hordes of demons and other evil creatures. Each of the animal guardians has its own powers ranging from exceptional speed to uncanny resilience, and even poisonous capabilities. Not only the Spiritborn can summon their individual powers but also combine them to create unique builds that fit specific playstyles.
While Jaguar skills focus on increasing your attack speed, Gorilla skills allow you to increase your physical power. Centipede skills can provide passive healing and poison enemies. Meanwhile, Eagle skills make you nimble boosting your evasion and letting you deal lightning damage. Flexibility is the name of the game for Spiritborn as the class offers you a world of possibilities by combining the effects of different abilities and further changing them with specific legendary items and effects.
With these features, Spiritborn is bound to become a very popular class as soon as Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred is released. As a reminder, Blizzard intends to release the expansion on October 8 for PC and Xbox Series.
