Borderlands 3 will have a new Season Pass

It's now been a year since Borderlands 3 came out, but that doesn't mean the game is outdated and Gearbox seems determined to keep it alive as long as possible. During this first year of life, Borderlands 3 players have already benefited from additional content to further enrich the experience offered in the base game. These additional contents have been added through updates and limited-time events, but also through the four DLC included in the Season Pass.

After Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck, the latest DLC included in the Season Pass, was made available, we were wondering about what Gearbox would have in store for the game. We already know that Borderlands 3 will be released on next-gen consoles, that the Vault Hunters will each have a new skill tree, and that a new split-screen mode is coming to the game.
 

It appears that this content will be included in a second Season Pass. Gearbox announced it yesterday. Borderlands 3 Season Pass 2 will include two DLCs, Designer's Cut and Director's Cut. The first one will be available on November 10 and it will include the new skill trees as well as the new "Arms Race" mode. The second should arrive in early 2021. In addition, Gearbox also unveiled on the official Borderlands 3 website a schedule with several showcases of this new content, which will take place on their Twitch channel:

• October 20, 9:00 AM PT - Amara/FL4K new Skill Tree reveals with livestreams and a special episode of Ultimate Vault Hunters
• October 22, 9:00 AM PT - Moze/Zane new Skill Tree reveals with livestreams and a special episode of Ultimate Vault Hunters
• October 29, 9:00 AM PT - The Borderlands Show premieres, featuring the new Arms Race mode and much more
• October 30, 9:00 AM PT - The Bordercast debuts the first live, hands-on Arms Race gameplay

While waiting for more information on the matter, you can still take part in the Bloody Harvest event which is currently taking place in Borderlands 3 and will be running until November 5th.
