Biomutant finally has a release date

It's been four years already since we could watch a strange creature fighting against a huge monster in an amazing video. THQ Nordic published the first cinematic trailer of Biomutant in the summer of 2017 and since then we have had the opportunity of watching more some gameplay videos to discover more things about this upcoming video game that has been described as a "post-apocalyptic kung-fu fable".

Even though there are many details to be unveiled unveil about the game yet, we already know that Biomutant is an epic adventure that will take us on a journey through a world ravaged by a plague. In order to save it, we will need to unite the different Tribes spread across it and find a way to restore the Tree of Life. The protagonist of the game is a rodent-like creature that is able to mutate to adapt its body to multiple situations and fight using all kinds of weapons and flashy martial arts moves. Biomutant will put at your disposal a huge open world to explore and it will feature a crafting system, giving you total freedom when deciding what kind of equipment you will use in your adventure.

One important detail about Biomutant was yet to be unveiled. In a previous article we anticipated that the game would probably arrive very soon and we were not mistaken. THQ Nordic has finally revealed that Biomutant will be out for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on May 25th, 2021. We can also expect quite a lot more information about the game to be revealed in the weeks ahead of launch so it's likely that we will be able to watch more videos detailing other aspects of the game and maybe a bit more about the story in the game.
