Back 4 Blood is getting a slew of additional content

Turtle Rock has very ambitious plans for its cooperative zombie first-person shooter, Back 4 Blood. The game already offers quite a thrilling experience, but the developer intends to add plenty of new features to the game in the following months. A tweet on the game's official Twitter account reveals the roadmap for those novelties, which include new gameplay modes, activities, weapons, cards, characters, and enemies. 

First of all, Turtle Rock will be focusing on polishing the gameplay by fixing some minor bugs in Back 4 Blood to improve the game experience. The first batch of additions will arrive in December, with a solo offline mode that includes campaign progression. This new gameplay mode will be perfect for players disappointed by the game's always-online requirement, even when played with AI teammates. You can also expect new cards, new supply lines, a Ridden practice area, and a seasonal event before the year ends. 

Back 4 Blood will continue to receive additional features and updates throughout 2022, including a new difficulty, a new co-op mode, and more. All of that content will be free, but the developer also plans on releasing paid content. Back 4 Blood Annual Pass will include three expansions, weapons, Cleaners, Ridden, and exclusive skins. The first expansion is called Tunnels of Terror, and no release date has been confirmed yet for it.

If you are a fan of zombie shooters, the creators of Left 4 Dead have done quite a good job with Back 4 Blood, and we highly recommend that you join the ranks of the Cleaners. Trying to survive a zombie apocalypse caused by an alien parasite does not seem to be something that you would do for fun, but the game currently offers one of the best experiences in the genre, and it's worth giving it a try.
