Among Us will launch on consoles soon
Among Us has become one of the biggest hits in recent years, so much that it's an unending source of funny memes that have flooded the Internet with Impostors and Crewmates in all kinds of situations. Its mechanics are simple. You are part of the crew of a spaceship and need to do maintenance tasks to get it home, but there are Impostors among the crew whose mission is to prevent that by killing all others. Once a corpse is discovered, players can call for a vote and decide who the culprit is and get it ejected from the ship. This process repeats until all the Impostors are removed, or all the crew members die. Among Us undoubtedly has a strong social component as players have to dialogue and cast their votes to decide who is the impostor, which gives way to very funny situations.
So far, Among Us is only available on PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices, but it seems that other console players are going to join the family very soon. Developer InnerSloth has announced that the game will launch on PlayStation and Xbox consoles next December, exponentially increasing the massive number of players that already enjoy Among Us. These new versions of the game will include all the content released to date on other platforms and lobbies for 4 to 15 players. The best of the announcement is that it will feature crossplay, so you will be able to enjoy the game with players from other platforms.
