The Division 2: Ubisoft presents Episode 3 and reveals a new DLC

Originally announced for winter 2019, episode 3 of The Division 2 is finally here. It was during E3 that Ubisoft unveiled its roadmap for the Year 1 of The Division 2.

While the first two episodes and Invasion took place in or around Washington, it is now time to change the scenery and leave for New York. When it was announced at the E3, very few details were been given on this new episode, apart from a short trailer in which we could recognize Coney Island. A second trailer was released about two weeks ago, giving us a broader look at what this third episode of The Division 2 has in store for us.

Coney Island: The Hunt is the name of this last episode for Year 1. Ubisoft presented it yesterday during a live broadcast. Available today for Year 1 Pass holders, and on February 19 for all other players, Coney Island: The Hunt, brings two new missions, two confidential assignments, the Firewall specialization, and four new weapons, as well as the beta Hardcore mode.

 

But that's not all we could see in yesterday's broadcast and the most important thing is yet to come. Indeed, episode 3 serves as a prologue for the Warlords of New York expansion which will be released on March 3 and that Ubisoft presented yesterday.

In this DLC, you will have to track down and arrest Aaron Keener, a former member of The Division, who has since become a formidable enemy who has managed to control southern Manhattan by rallying different factions in the city. He is about to deploy a deadly virus, and you will have to do everything to prevent it. In addition to the new scenario, the new locations and a variety of rewards that Warlords of New York will offer, the DLC will also introduce a new system of seasons. Each of them will last three months, and they will end with a special event. Warlords of New York will also raise the maximum level from 30 to 40.
