Superhot's sequel will launch next week

Superhot is a rather unusual game when it comes to graphics but its mechanics and gameplay alone were enough to make it stand out among myriad other first-person shooting games. Even if you haven't played it, you will probably recognize its polygonal graphics and minimalistic color palette, but if you ever played Superhot, you will probably never forget its thrilling gameplay. You had to dash through multiple levels killing enemies and that's nothing really new, but what makes Superhot unique is that time slows down unless you move or shoot a weapon. Pretty much, time only moves when you do, and that allows you to adapt your movements to dodge incoming threats. Avoiding any damage is a must in the game because you instantly die if you ever get hit.

Superhot was followed by a VR version and after some time in the works, an expansion called Superhot: Mind Control Delete has grown enough to become a standalone sequel that will be finally released next week. Superhot: Mind Control Delete will continue the story in the previous game and it will also feature new weapons and types of characters.
