Necromunda: Underhive Wars has a release date

The development of Necromunda: Underhive Wars has been a long process and the developers have been quite secretive about their game, to the point that many players have even wondered if it was finally coming out this summer as planned. It's not like the universe of Necromunda is new to the fans of Games Workshop's miniatures game but other than a few pictures we had not received too much information about the game until very recently. Taking into account the work done by Rogue Factor with Mordheim: City of the Damned, we know that they have experience with other tabletop games from the Warhammer universe, but we didn't know what kind of gameplay this new adaptation would offer.

We learned recently that the three gangs initially present in Necromunda: Underhive Wars will be Orlocks, Escher, and Goliath. These are three groups well-knowns to the fans of the license. Each of them has its own style of play, which is favored by their skills and weapons and you will discover them once the game is released. Of course, every gang has its own specialized classes and you will be able to put your strategic skills to test in skirmishes that will pit your gang members against others in the dangerous depths of the Underhive. Although it seems that there will be a very limited number of gangs available at launch in Necromunda: Underhive Wars, it's quite likely that we will see more of them added via DLC later, as it happened with Mordheim. If you like other gangs like Van Saar, Delaque, or Cawdor, you may have to wait for a bit longer to play with them.

The final piece of the Necromunda: Underhive Wars puzzle has just been revealed in a new video that finally announces its official release date on PC. Necromunda: Underhive Wars will be available on September 8 on Steam and you can check our comparator to find the best price to purchase it already.
