Alan Wake
Alan Wake scene: A dark night scene with a character firing a weapon, surrounded by light effects and a train track.
Alan Wake scene with the protagonist and two other characters. Dark, possibly ominous scene, Alan is wearing a coat.
Alan Wake, the author, holding a flashlight in a dark room. The beam of light illuminates the space, creating a suspenseful scene.

Alan Wake is a psychological action thriller game that was originally an Xbox 360 only game. Far from being a sloppy port, this game many times delayed and ultimately canceled is finally available. So you play as Alan Wake,
a bestselling author who can no longer release novels for some reasons. Your girlfriend, Alice, decides to take you to Lake Cauldron trying to help you find inspiration. However, she will disappear from the first evening and you will start looking for her in Bright Falls. An evil shadow that takes control of everything will try by all means to get rid of you and you will always have a weapon or your lamp to defend yourself. In an oppressive atmosphere and a fantastic atmosphere, get ready to make you scared in this game worthy of a Stephen King story. The graphics are very good and the gameplay just fine. You will need about twenty hours to complete the main storyline and two bonus episodes are included!
