    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use multiple relics simultaneously to create a more potent combination?
No, you can only activate one relic at a time. The strategic depth comes from choosing the right relic for each wave and enemy composition.
How does the 'Energy' mechanic impact my ability to use abilities?
Energy is a shared resource. Using any ability consumes energy, and allowing enemies to pass the gate also drains energy. Managing your energy is crucial for survival.
If I fail to protect the gate, is the game over immediately?
No, you have a limited number of 'Breaches'. Each enemy that passes the gate contributes to a breach. When you reach the breach limit, you lose.
Are the enemy types always the same, or do they change in subsequent levels or waves?
Enemy types and their behaviors evolve as you progress. New enemy types with unique attack patterns and weaknesses are introduced.
Do I earn currency or resources to upgrade my abilities or relics?
While you don't upgrade abilities directly, you unlock new relics and improve their starting stats by successfully completing levels. This allows you to adapt to the increasing difficulty.
Can I replay previous levels to gain resources or practice strategies?
Yes, you can replay previously completed levels to refine your strategies, experiment with different relic combinations, and improve your score.
Is there a way to influence the spawn location or pathing of enemies?
No, enemy spawn points and pathing are predetermined for each level and wave, creating a puzzle that you must solve with your relic usage.
How does the game handle the difficulty scaling?
Difficulty scales primarily through increased enemy health, numbers, and the introduction of new, more challenging enemy types in later waves.
Are there any 'passive' abilities or upgrades that automatically help me?
No, the gameplay focuses on active relic use. All of your power comes from carefully selecting and deploying relics at the right time.
Does the game offer any form of in-game tutorial or explanation of the mechanics?
The game provides a brief explanation of core mechanics, but a lot of the discovery comes from experimenting with the relics and learning how enemies behave.
