    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use multiple ingredient cards to create a single lasagna layer, or is it one card per layer?
You can use multiple ingredient cards, provided their combined values meet or exceed the layer's target value. Excess value carries over to the next layer.
If I sabotage an opponent's lasagna, do they lose the ingredients used in the sabotaged layer, or are the ingredients returned to their hand?
The ingredients used in the sabotaged layer are discarded and returned to the discard pile, not to the player's hand.
How does the 'Garfield' card affect the gameplay when drawn?
The 'Garfield' card allows you to immediately steal a completed lasagna layer from another player, adding it to your own stack.
When building a lasagna layer, is there a limit to how many ingredient cards I can play at once?
There's no limit to the number of ingredient cards you can play for a single layer, as long as the total value meets or exceeds the layer's requirement.
If a sabotage card targets a layer with special action cards already played on it, what happens to those action cards?
Any special action cards on the sabotaged layer are discarded along with the ingredients.
Does the order I play ingredient cards matter when building a layer?
No, the order in which you play ingredient cards doesn't matter; only the total value counts towards the layer's requirement.
Can I use a 'Jon' card to protect a layer from sabotage, or does it only affect Garfield's stealing ability?
The 'Jon' card protects a layer from sabotage attempts, but it doesn't prevent Garfield from stealing it.
Are there any cards that allow me to look at the top cards of the draw pile?
Yes, there are cards that allow you to peek at the top cards of the draw pile and potentially rearrange them.
What happens if I run out of ingredient cards in my hand?
You draw back up to your hand limit at the end of your turn, from the draw pile.
Can I sabotage my own lasagna layers?
No, you cannot sabotage your own layers.
