What happens if a player plays a Reverse card when only two players are left in the game?

The direction of play reverses, effectively skipping the player who played the Reverse card, and the turn goes back to that same player.

Can a player play a Wild Draw Four card strategically, even if they have a card that matches the color of the top card on the discard pile?

No, a player can only play a Wild Draw Four card if they have no other cards in their hand that match the color of the top card in the discard pile.
