Dead by Daylight – The HALLOWEEN Chapter is a chilling expansion that brings John Carpenter's legendary horror masterpiece to life within the world of asymmetrical survival horror. The chapter introduces The Shape, Michael Myers himself, whose silent pursuit and unstoppable presence embody pure fear. Alongside him comes Laurie Strode, the ultimate survivor who refuses to be a victim, using her courage and resilience to stand against the darkness.

Explore Lampkin Lane, a faithfully recreated slice of suburban Americana turned into a nightmare playground. Each house, each shadowed alley, and each flickering porch light hides danger. As The Shape, players will stalk their prey, building the chilling power of Evil Within before unleashing unstoppable fury. As Laurie, you'll rely on sharp instincts, new survivor perks, and sheer determination to outsmart the killer and make it out alive.

This chapter perfectly captures the essence of the Halloween franchise: the creeping dread, the heart-pounding suspense, and the battle between innocence and evil. Whether you take up the knife or fight for your life, every match delivers a cinematic experience filled with tension, strategy, and unforgettable scares.

Dead by Daylight – The HALLOWEEN Chapter is a must-have for horror fans and Dead by Daylight veterans alike. It expands the base game with a new killer, survivor, and map, all steeped in the haunting atmosphere of one of the most iconic horror films ever made.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Shape's Evil Within power be activated while carrying a survivor?
No, The Shape cannot use Evil Within while carrying a survivor. The ability is intended for stalking and observing survivors at a distance.
Does the Halloween map's layout favor The Shape or the survivors, and why?
The Halloween map, Haddonfield, is generally considered survivor-sided due to its many safe areas, multiple stories, and the availability of strong loops that the Shape struggles to counter effectively.
How does the Shape's Tier 3 Evil Within affect the struggle phase of a hooked survivor?
The Shape's Tier 3 does not directly affect the struggle phase. Its primary impact is in the initial hook phase, by allowing for a quick down of a survivor.
Can the survivors see The Shape's Evil Within progress, and if so, how?
Survivors cannot directly see the Evil Within progress bar. However, they can infer it based on the intensity of The Shape's stare, the terror radius, and the sound cues.
What is the primary counterplay against The Shape's Evil Within?
The primary counterplay is to break line of sight, avoid prolonged staring, and use the environment to create distance and escape his view.
Does the Shape retain Evil Within progress between trials?
No, The Shape's Evil Within power resets at the beginning of each trial, requiring him to stalk survivors to build up his tiers.
How does the Halloween Chapter's specific map features influence gameplay?
The map's tight streets and many obstacles create opportunities for both survivors to create distance from The Shape and the killer to ambush them.
Does the Shape's ability to stalk grant any information about the survivors?
Yes, Stalking reveals the aura of the survivor to The Shape for a brief duration after he gains a tier of Evil Within.
How does the Shape's terror radius change with Evil Within tiers?
The Shape's terror radius increases with each tier of Evil Within, becoming notably larger and more menacing at Tier 3.
Can the survivors use the environment to block The Shape's stalking ability?
Yes, breaking line of sight, hiding behind objects, and using the map's geometry are effective strategies to prevent The Shape from gaining Evil Within progress.
