What if a pair of scientists accidentally make sentient corn? That’s the premise for this first-person comedy story-rich puzzle game, Maize.

You find yourself in an abandoned cornfield with no idea how you got there or what you’re supposed to do. Eventually, you find yourself in an underground lab filled with post-its, and from it you gather that the scientists have misinterpreted a crucial government memo, creating smart corn. And if you think that’s bizarre, wait till you discover the rest of the story.

Explore the farm and encounter a variety of kooky characters, including an insane sentient cornstalk, and Vlady, a Russian robot teddy bear, who will assist you and insult you at the same time. Gather up useful items that you can use on puzzles to progress through the story. Ultimately, find out what the sentient corn want. Get ready to get lost in the strange world of Maize.
