The evil wizard Gargamel is obsessed with finding the Smurf village and imprisoning the magical tiny blue creatures for his experiments. He has created a new plant that will help him to achieve it. The Vileaf is a toxic plant that spreads through the forest and poisons other plants, especially the sarsaparilla, which is the favorite of the Smurfs. The plant also produces seeds able to trap the Smurfs.

Help the Smurfette, Hefty Smurf, Brainy Smurf, and Chef Smurf gather the ingredients needed to end the Vileaf infestation and save the village. Use a special gadget known as the Smurfizer to free other Smurfs and heal infested plants as you find your way into Gargamel's castle and destroy his creation.
