Welcome to the wonderful world of The Amazing American Circus! You have inherited your father's circus, but it's not in the best condition. Taking over the business and keeping it afloat would be quite a challenge by itself, but things get even more complicated when you hear that your show is taking part in a national competition. Fortunately enough, winning the one hundred thousand prize would solve all your problems, so you just need to find out how to make it possible.

In The Amazing American Circus, you need to successfully complete a series of performances to come victorious and claim the prize. The game mechanics are similar to a battle where you try to entertain your opponents. To do so, you will have a wide variety of cards at your disposal to make a deck. By using those cards, you perform diverse acts to entertain the public on each show. You will choose three different artists for each show, each of them with different abilities and cards.

The Amazing American Circus is a different experience for all those that love the circus and deck-building games.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I directly control the performers during their acts, or is their performance automated based on my choices?
Performances are not directly controlled; instead, you manage performers' stats, skills, and equipment to influence the outcome of their acts. Success depends on strategic preparation rather than real-time control.
How does the 'Hype' mechanic directly impact the circus performances and the audience's reactions?
Hype serves as a multiplier for audience engagement. Higher hype levels translate into better audience reactions, which in turn generate more revenue and influence your circus's reputation and growth. Certain acts and upgrades specifically boost your hype.
What is the primary way to acquire new performers with unique skills and traits?
New performers are primarily acquired through scouting, which involves searching for talent across different regions. You'll need to allocate resources to find and recruit performers to improve your circus roster.
How do I upgrade the circus tent and other facilities, and what benefits do these upgrades provide?
Upgrades are purchased using in-game currency earned from successful shows. Upgrading the tent enhances the capacity of your audience, while other facilities improve performer stats, act preparation time, and revenue generation.
What role do 'Trick Cards' play in the performances, and how are they acquired and utilized?
Trick Cards are consumable cards that provide temporary buffs or special effects during acts. They are obtained through crafting, rewards, or purchases and are strategically played to enhance act performance and audience reactions.
Can I customize the appearance of my performers, costumes, and the circus itself?
Yes, customization plays a significant role in the game. You can customize performers' costumes, and even upgrade the circus' appearance with different themes and decorations, enhancing the visual appeal.
How does the 'Rival Circus' mechanic work, and what are the consequences of engaging in competition?
The Rival Circus mechanic introduces competition where you compete for audience favor, resources, and territory. You can engage in acts that directly compete with rival circuses to undermine their success and grow your own.
What is the relationship between 'Fatigue' and performer abilities, and how is it managed?
Fatigue affects the performance and efficiency of performers. High fatigue negatively impacts their act quality and the risk of injury. It is managed by providing rest periods and employing support staff who can alleviate fatigue.
How do 'Show Formations' affect the audience's experience and the show's overall success?
Show Formations determine the order of acts and the flow of the show. Strategic formation choices influence audience engagement, hype generation, and overall show success. You can customize the order of acts to maximize your performance.
What kind of resources are required for crafting and upgrading, and how are they obtained?
Resources required for crafting and upgrading are obtained through successful performances, completing quests, and exploring different regions. Efficient resource management is critical for progression.
