    If probing the human mind is your passion, then Mind Scanners is for you. This simulation game puts you in the shoes of a psychonaut charged with assessing the mental state of the population. The world of Mind Scanners has been turned upside down by the fall of a meteorite, which not only killed a large number of people but also brought with it a new source of energy called zygnoka. Thanks to it, the survivors built an ultra-technological city, the Structure, in the crater left by the meteorite. In the Structure, order and efficiency are the rules of the day and as a psychonaut, you are an indispensable part of the system.

    You must probe people's minds like a psychologist and diagnose your patients' pathologies, but also provide them with the appropriate treatment, which even involves strange machines and devices. You have to help your patients, but not only for their welfare. Yours is important too since your daughter is being held as a hostage. You better do what you are told or not get caught if you choose to help the resistance. Mind Scanners is an excellent simulation, featuring retro-style graphics in a warm color palette. But you will need to hang in there as the game will test your moral mettle.
