There is nothing quite as terrifying as the unquiet mind. Rise of Insanity is a first-person psychological horror game heavily inspired by The Shining, The Exorcist, and Silent Hill. You are Dr. Stephen Dowell, a troubled psychiatrist deep in mourning after the loss of your wife and child. You are treating a patient who appears to show various forms of mental illnesses that contradict each other. Will your treatment methods work on him? Is he even truly ill? And is he responsible in some way for what happened to your family?

You delve deeper into the mystery, and before long you are wandering between dreamscapes that mess with your mind. The terror really begins when you start losing track of what is real and what is not.

Rise of Insanity locks you into a visceral, immersive, and volatile environment that changes as you walk through it. Enjoy its haunting soundtrack and accompanying voice acting. Interact with objects in the world, look for notes and recordings, and solve puzzles to progress further. Beware: you may not like what you will find. The mind is often not a nice place to be in.
