For The Warp is a survival game with retro-style graphics that plays out in space. You’re carrying a valuable load of questionable legality, and the closest warp gate has been destroyed, so you have to travel the long route. You embark on a perilous journey, through a territory filled with rouges.

As you make your way through space, which is represented by a grid-pattern, you successively uncover new territory where different things may happen. As you move, sometimes you come across friendly ships, and other times you meet unfriendly rogues that force you into battle. The game is based around a deck of cards that represents different actions. You buy cards at market stations, deal with ships that you meet, or win them in battles. You need to take care of your health meter, fuel, and your remaining money when considering your options and your route.

The For The Warp battle gameplay features turn-based matches where you meet one or several opponents in each instance. You use your cards to perform actions like repairs, dealing damage, or changing the intentions of the enemy. The cards from your deck show up in a random fashion when it’s your turn, so be mindful of how you build your deck. Defeat the enemies to win more currency and additional cards to help you on your journey!
